Inner Face Of Terror

Title: Inner Face of Terror (Set of Two Artworks)
Medium: Mixed Media
Dimensions: 24” x 30” each

Inner Facer of Terror is a two-part mixed media series born from the deep emotional aftermath of the COVID-19 pandemic. These works reflect not just the global crisis but the silent internal battles that many endured behind closed doors, battles often hidden behind masks, both literal and emotional.

During the pandemic, grief, anxiety, and isolation overwhelmed countless lives. I created these pieces to capture that invisible weight - the fear of loss, the loneliness of isolation and the mental scars that linger long after physical recovery. The facelessness, fragmentation and layered textures in this work express how so many were mentally imprisoned, unable to process or share what they were going through.

These artworks are a response to the collective trauma of social disconnection. They aim to bring hidden emotions to the surface, to visually speak the words that were never said. Inner Facer of Terror is a reflection on mental health, vulnerability and the lasting psychological effects of being forced apart from the world.
