Zipped Moments is a deeply symbolic piece that reflects on the people who help shape our path. Using intricate pen and ink work, I created a portrait where zippers are woven into the face, opening and closing like chapters, each one representing moments supported by others who’ve walked beside me.

The zipper lines form a visual train track, symbolizing movement, direction, and the journey of life. Beneath the portrait, machine-like forms echo the invisible yet vital efforts of those who’ve stood by me: friends, mentors, family whose strength, guidance and hard work made my own progress possible.

This artwork speaks of gratitude, connection and collaboratio, reminding us that behind every step forward, there’s often someone lifting, guiding, or simply being there. It’s a quiet celebration of the unseen hands that build our lives.
